The 29/71 XX Series 2 Blade takes all the features and internal architectural and mechanical properties of Series 1 XX, and further moves the posts in what is possible with more layers without adding stiffness.

We have done by using an ultra flat Spread Tow carbon fibre, which has allowed to further reduce the ration of resin to fibre giving the blade a further increase of reactivity. This gives the XX Blade twice the power and reactivity of the X-Blade. These carbon fibre blades still have the same meticulous design and engineering for human ergonomics and correct finning techniques, helping to reduce fatigue in the quadriceps and minimise stress on the ankle. But these blades also have so much power and reactivity, that they will allow you to increase your depth by 15% compared to the X-Blade Series 1, by diving the exact same way you did with your previous fins.

Aswell as being able to propel you to great depths you can only dream of, they also easily allow you to rescue a diver from 40m as if you were only coming 30m. These blades are able to achieve this because the carbon fibre used is SpreadTow and Uni-directional fibres. This has enabled 29/71 to tune these blades to deliver super instant energy loading of the Blades, and for that energy to be returned back to you instantly, helping you in the drive phase of the descent and ascent, in whatever scenario you wish to be doing in your Freediving.
